Shock Covers keeps the shaft from getting hit by rocks which will put nics in it tearing the seals

Its funny you write that you have had continual problems with your right shock. I too have an 09 x MX and have suffered the same frustrations with the same right shock. Not sure if it's just a coincidence or not (probably is) but I know there is an updated seal that has been made for the shock. I have had the same shock re-built 4 times now. What a pain in the arse!

Mine has been leaking oil 2 or 3 times too! (both)

What about the updated seals? Did it worked?

Your shafts have small nics on them that keep cutting your new seals. This problem will never go away unless you fix the shafts, and get shock covers for those new shafts.
