I just recently done a 440 big bore on my motor now its time for a cam. I think I want to go with a Hotcams stage 2 but i'd like to get some input before doing so. I have heared from many people that they are drop-in cams and I have heard from others that you should still use hard faced rockers. So at this point im completely confused. Let me know what you guy's think what is your opinion? What experince have you had with Hotcams?
Thanks,
Jim

I have a hotcams stage 2 in my 416. I am also running stock springs and rockers. I love it but, Since you have a 440 I would look at a bigger cam. Something with more aggression. You should look at web cams or mega cycle. If you go with anything bigger then a hotcam stage 2 I would highly recommend new heavy springs, seat, seals and hard face your rockers. It will save you money in the long run.
