Are the clutch baskets from 86 to 89 interchangeable? I have a 89 botom end and picked up a 86 Hinson clutch basket and wanted to know if I could use it

The hinson 250R basket part# H104 says "1985-1989 ATC/TRX250R clutch basket" So the answer is yes it will work.

Cool, thanks for looking that up. LOL! didn't have to look it up. The box just sits here on my desk with a bunch of other R stuff. The most important is the Clymer manual which you have to use if something does not look right.
