security camera advise needed!

I have a neighbor that has been a pain for years. I will not bore you with the details. I want to put some cameras on my home. Any advise on what brands are good? thanks

details are nice..

if you have a sams club, costco, or bjs warehouse nearby you can pick up the entire setup for less than 300-500 bucks depending on model. I see them there all the time,

The ones from Sam's Club, Wal-Mart, etc. are cheapies imo. The picture sucks and they don't give you enough wire to run from the camera to the tiny monitor. Your better off just buying a couple nice wireless cameras and running them through a VCR to your t.v.

I put a 8 camera set up at my house from Costco they work great record 24-7 for 7 days then rerecords over it's self I put a bigger hard drive in the system so the will run for 16 days straight
