Not really much of a stretch for a Hybrid but according to babelfish translation here is what they said:

Still an old idea of Thierry Bourjade: To put an engine of motor bike in the quad. It is not a new idea: Romain Couprie in 2009 and this year Clement Jay and Matthieu Ternynck have this mechanics assembled in the workshops Dag' one.
The principal interest of course remains the lightness of the engine and a higher performance (weight ratio/power).

To build this machine Thierry Bourjade used an engine of Honda 450CRF of 2008 (without the injection) which already proved reliable in particular on W TEC.
One will find then for the part cycles: The nose gear 450 YFZ 2008 for its lightness but also for the facility to find it on the second-hand market. The objective is to also remain in an accessible price range for the end product

The frame is of design “house” TBS, “I optimized the drawing which I manufactured out of steel 25CD4 just like the nose gear to finish 2kg lighter than a frame aluminum of Yam 2009. The front geometry is close to that of the 450TRX and the suspension postpones almost identical to Yam 2008; it is what I regard as the best compromise of the market”.

The machine prét to be rolled with Water and Oil and without gasoline weighs 147kg today (with the shock absorbers of race and the aft wheels without beadlock).
Fred Lenient, pilot TBS, who reigns today on the circuits of quad Italian cross-country race to with dimensions of Nicolas Montalbini, would have managed to descend his stopwatches of more than 2 seconds.

The machine is now at the point and should make its beginnings in competition in France very soon.

You will have to gather a budget of 12.000 € to acquire this quad ready to run. You will have however to envisage additional concerning the back shock absorbers, the wheels and axles which remain optional

TBS proposes to adapt any engine of motor bike of cross-country race 450 or 250 (for the young people) as well as the body desired by the pilot (Suzuki, Kawa, Polaris etc…).

ON a side note, the Yamaha Hybrid that Laeger built for the Indy dealer show and some Euro Quad racer also uses 250R front end Geometry.

Basically what it says is that it is a crf 450 non fuel injected adapted top a yfz450. The front end is custom made to be 250R geometry. The builder can build custom chassis' to fit 450s and 250s .
