Ever break bead lock rings

Anybody else breaking the rings these r hiper carbon fiber broke 2 in 3 races.

sure have, put a little lube on tire outer before you tighten them up so it can move a little

Overtightening the bolts can cause stress to the rings, they do have a torque spec but most just run them in until they are tight, which is usually too much.

I run the bolts in with an impact because it takes forever otherwise with the semi fine thread on the hyper ring bolts. Then I torque them down, call me a nerd for torqueing them but never had a problem. Also, the back wheel bouncing off of tree's will cause the rings to fail eventually, lol. At least you know your going fast when that starts happening.
