Will the stock carb work with the 440 big bore kit?

depends on what other mods you have....if its all stock, your better off putting that money in a nice full exhaust imo instead of a bbk...but to answer your question ..yes it will work fine

Yes,it has a full FMF exhaust. Also it has the DRZ kit(12.2:1) and a aftermarket air box with no lid. I picked up a bbk for a decent price and thinking of installing it but will the stock carb be enough? It the 03-04 carb. 36mm.

that will be up to you. i have all most done what your doing,it was a stock bore with many tricks done to it ,it was asking for more air on the high RPM's ,the 39mm carb fix'ed that.
yet there really was no great jump in HP with the 39mm.
really the best jump came with a 400ex air boot

what size pilot and main jets are you guys running with the 440's? i just got one that is running like **** and i think it's lean.

I need a basis for where to start my jetting.

let me know the numbers and whether it's dynojet numbers or stock numbers and i'll start from there, it's got a 440 with a full hmf slip on. that's it!
