I rebuilt the top end recently and put a 86mm wiseco 11:1 piston in it with a stg 2 hotcam. I have been running 93 octane with no problems but was thinking of going to a half and half mix of 93 and 110. Is this a good idea? What octane will this make? If I run this or just 110 will I be able to go back to 93? Thanks

As far as octane of those two mixed I do not know..maybe 97 or 98? But the lead in the 110 does help lubricate the upper cylinder. If you ask me just run the 93 alone, its what I run in my 11:1 and it works fine..mixing the 110 probably wont give you any noticable power gain and it will cost more, but that is just my opinion. Which according to everyone else on this forum is always wrong and I am apparently always attacking people and just trying to prove them wrong so maybe you just shouldn't listen to me.

Bherriman seems to be on the right track. 93 should be fine unless you get a timing +key then you will need to make the switch to a higher octane.
