if I add 3mm does that cause more motor braking?

I rode a friends with similar mods that i have and he has +3mm stroke. when powering into a corner in 3rd letting off throttle almost slid me into the tank, not to mention the speed that i lost, does stroking the crank cause this?

if so I dont think I like it!Plese help Im not sure what to do!if I should stroke mine or not?I do want more power, but I still want speed into the corners,

I didn't notice any change in the engine braking when I put my +3 crank in.

Maybe he's running a higher compression setup?

ya he is and that's what I was planning on running, but I didnt really like the way his felt, right now I'm running high comp and there isn't a real bad braking into corners, Im just thinking that the extra stroke is exaggerating it? d3 your running an 05 they are geared differently also
