I recieved and email from Terry with several pics of this unit. the frame looks the same, but the swinger looked different.
However, the pipe looks like a leg burner to me for the 10-12yr olds.
I would have thought that they would have developed a frame that was made just for this engine package and price. It looked to me like they just put a cr85 motor in the apex and changed the swinger.
Also took off the heel guards???

I'll give APEX an A+ for effort no matter how the bike turns out. They have the right idea and are willing to test the market. Way to go! My son says he will be glad to test it out. There are hybrid bikes that are no doubt built better but we all know what they cost $$,$$$. !

By the time you put good shocks on that bike, you will have $8500 into it. You can build or buy a better built hybrid bike for that much. Don't get me wrong, I guess it's cool to see a manufacturer try new things, but the hybrid mod bikes are not as expensive as you think.

For the price I would build something else looks like all they did was put cr85 motor in same frame this might last about as long as there 250 did

I don't see the reason for the big price difference. They would sell alot better at about the same price as their scooter motor model. This one still needs mods done for MX, so why so much more?
