Jetting help ASAP!

ok so i need help ASAP, i need this running and i cant get it, motors a mix all the years, but im running a +4 hot rods, 66.4 mm bore, on a FTZ cr cylinder, running 178 psi. carb is a PWK 35 mm, I have a 60 Pilot and a 160 main, i cant get it to start at all. I had a mix of 87 and E85 in it at one time. and i was running a 70 pilot and a 220 main and i was lean, way lean so i drained it out so could be strait 87 or 91.. i think its 91. but any ways i have a 58 pilot and a 160 min, and the plug is wet, if i would hold the throttle wide open it would run but it was still rich and i dont understand why, i have it mixed at 32-1 with maxxmla(sp) needle was on the 4th clip and then i trid second and i couldnt get it to start at all, im gonna try third right now and see how it goes.

so any ideas? I need this to run some what before 8 tomorrow morning, central time.

ok so i put a 158 in it and 3rd clip from top. im still not getting it, im starting to think im way lean but i dont understand why the plug would be wet... if elevation means anything im at 925 Feet...

For starters your pilot sounds too big to me. I would try maybe a 45 or 48 pilot and maybe a 158 main. When I had my 36PWK on I ran a 155 main. Try that and just see how it goes. Its hard to tell someone how to jet because everybodys weather is so different.

ok so i found out a few things

1. my key on my flywheel was sheared and the timing was off

2. pilot like said was way rich, im at a 40 and a 165 main. needle at the bottom clip.

3. i need a bigger air filter.


I got to go on the dyno for 20 mins and i found out so far i have a crazy 13.5 hp. that was in 3rd gear WAY rich... after that it was soo bad we couldnt really tell what was wrong and it was mix of about 3 things or so.

Im going to put the factory air box on it, and put a uni foam filter in it. and see how that goes.
