Anybody else notice this? I was just on Kawasaki's website, to check out the new 2011 KFX 450R , and .. they dont make it anymore.. Anyone know why? Are they going to make it again next year? Did they have to many problems with them?

yea that is realy confusing for me because i wasnt a bad selling quad. im actually realy surprised they are making the 450 for 2011 because of all of the leftovers. then haveing no contingency just makes it a harder quad to sell.

Yup the 2011 KFX450R isn't for sale in Canada, I was looking at Kawi's site a few weeks ago and noticed the same thing.

I have no idea why they are still selling those pigs. I rode one this winter for a local stealership and HATED it. Weak, even with aftermarket suspension it rode and handled like ***, and broke every race

are you talking about the 700 or the 450?

Kawasaki's ATV's are not even worth talking about or mentioning anymore. Its all about dirtbikes and UTV's for them apparently.

450. I race quads, not lawnmowers.

man why all the hating on the kfx i had an ltr with long travel fox suspension and it handled the same as my kfx stock i actually perfer my stock supsension on my kfx. its stock with a pipe and 36tooth sprocket, and it hangs just fine with full suspension little motor work hondas, and the big 3 ltr's the torque is amazing these things put out. i actually just kartwheeled mine this weekend on a ski jump in probly 4th gear pinded and the frame held up excellent the only thing that i broke was a tie rod and spindle, and it was a pretty bad crash.

I have two buddies who have fully built kfx's and they are argueable(sp) some of the best handling quads out there.

i guess it all comes down to what your perfer.

the bads, the seat is hard. the stock gearing is a little to low for mx, and the intake but it still has lots of potiental and is a very reilable quad.

never heard anyone love there kawi at the track - all have had issues. wouldn't even consider owning a kawi quad or a kawi lawnmower
