2000 ktm mxc 200

Has any one ever had a float problem in the carb on a 2000 ktm 200.

If I know correctly, it has a 38 pwk a/s carb. As anybody who has one of those carbs knows, they all stick the floats sometimes. I have a 98 200exc, it has a 38 pwk a/s, no float problems, but I have 39 pwk's(very similar carb w/ nearly same internal parts) on my 250r's and sometimes it sticks.

if you havent already, try taking the float, needle and ceet apart, clean it very well, then blow out the needle and ceet hole with a air compressor. then a dab of motor oil in the area of the needle and ceet just to lube it a lil before you start it and keep it moving freely till the gas flushes it out.

then your float might not get stuck as bad or as often???
