Cracked case repair

I saw that there was oil leaking from the underside of the transmission just below where the transmission bearings are.

My question is, when I take out the bearings will I find the inside cracked also and do I just take it in to get welded from the inside and outside. Will that be ok?

could be cracked or the oil seal insde is gone or the brass bushing inside is loose . all depends on how big crack is to weld .

check outer seal first, it may have popped out. Then if you find a crack, get a hold of Carl from the races, he has welded them in the past.

Thanks, there is definitely a small crack, I can see the oil oozing out.

call BP they should be able to stop that huge 4oz. oil leak:rolleyes:
