i am also wondering about this. the guy i bought mine from back in february said it was stock cam as far as he knew, and the quad has been through 4 of his friends and i would guess they raced it a bit and put some money into it. i am planning on putting a stage 2 cam in it once my flat track season is done with, but i want to make sure i have stock cam now. if not, then ill think about some other power mods instead.

Thanks
Josh

there should be a part number on the ends of the cam, i think. you could cross reference it and see what it matchs up with

1. they have numbers on the cam and usually say hot cams on there.

2. the timing chain is much noiser due to the valve clearances being greater.

Are there any parts numbers? Ie 1043, 1051, etc? Mine had hotcams written all over the sucker.
