Hey guys, im dead set on ordering a hotcam very soon for my 99, but im wondering, does the stage 2 work for low to mid gains? If not, which one is my best bet? I also plan on going with the 11:1 416 kit from wiseco but im holding off on that til winter. Will the stage 2 work with the 416 kit well?

It sounds like stage 1 is the cam im looking for, I do alot of different riding, but would like more low end power for the tight woods trails. Does this cam work well with the stock piston and stock compression? or is it a better idea for me to wait until I have the 416 kit ready to install?

Sounds awesome man! im really excited to get this cam and throw it in, while I have it apart is there anything else I should look in to replacing? Also, the break in guidelines sound alot easier then i thought it would be.

The Stage 1 hot cam is good for stock up to a 426 BB kit. Once you get over 426 you'd want to go with a Stage 2 or 3.

Well guys I just ordered the hotcams stage 1. hopefully it arrives before next weekend so I have a good day to put it in. Anything I should know before I do it or any little nice shortcuts?

Yeah I already checked this out but thanks. Just wondering if anyone had any other opinions. Is it absolutely necessary to replace the rockers?

Not completely. But highly recommended. I guess since your in there and have it apart might as well upgrade.

Well this sucks. I got the hotcams in the mail but I probably wont get a new head gasket until after this weekend. Looks like the install is gonna have to wait another week.:(
