300ex with +3 400ex lt arms

i have a 300ex and i just got some long travel laeger arms. i need to know what brake lines to get. should i buy a full 400ex plus 3 line kit from ebay? will they work. look at this link.if i ask for plus 3 brake lines will they bolt up to the 300ex? expecially at the middle part where it bolts to the frame

i had the same question and i believe someone told me to get 300ex brake lines. i believe he said plus 2 lines would work, but i would go plus 3 lines to be safe. those might work though, not postive on that but they might.

i highly doubt it. i think ill just buy the 2 line kit for a 400ex in plus 3 length.

I have +2 400ex arms on mine and my stock lines work. My advice 300ex +2 lines would work best I think 400ex lines would be way too long

it makes no sence. 400 plus 3 arms, 400 plus 3 tie rods, why not plus 3 lines?

I realize it doesnt make much sense however my stock lines had more than enough slack to reach. I have a set of 300ex +2 lines sitting on the shelf right now that i know have enough slack in them to reach the caliper on even +3 arms for sure. I figure if my stock ones reach why mess with it right now. Ill wait till winter when i tear it down to clean it to put them on.

ok. is it a 3 line kit u have? id like to see how the mount at the middle where the lines split. i think ill buy 400 plus 3 lines to be safe

stock a arms are +2 on a 300 you have +3 which is gonna be +5 what are you going to do with this bike? baja race it?

A +2 or +3 2-line kit for a 400 would be your best bet.
