What type of head washer do you guys run? These seem to be a copper of sorts. Maybe a harder material is required? Thanks.

Those are what i have, copper looking.

I suppose these are the ESR supplied. I have been running them, no apparent problems. I tried a copper head gasket, I could not get it to seal. Going back to Cometic fiber.

The ESR washers are now steel coated with copper plate. Years ago they were pure copper. I perfer the copper ones for better sealing under the acorn nut. I have a few hundred if you need a set.

Thanks for the offer. I just reassembled the head, using those in the picture. Welcome to the site. I've seen your posts on the .net
