I had a breather tube welded to my son's cvt cover.
or you could use an Apex cvt cover, but I was afraid that water would get in it.

Your looking for a 90 cvt cover.

Or get out the drill and vent the one you have:devil:

thanks, both look like good ways to vent . i went ahead and put a 1-1/4'' hole in the back like selbygirl and welded a 1-1/2'' tube to cover i also put a hole in front of the cover infront of clutch with a 1'' hole there that i will make a plate and sandwich a peice outerwear at that location. i didnt want it real wide open as its for xc alot more mud and water than mx, thanks again guys

good ideas from all, just be careful in any stock classes you might run that case modification is allowed.

Whats your reasone for venting the cover, a stock 50 shouldnt be
getting that hot. I dont even vent the cover on our production 50.
Dont get me wrong keeping it cool will help the springs last longer.

jerkyboy, we run xc 45min. long races with stops and tight turns ,WAY different than moto! using a laser pyrometer it is obvious that its hotter there than the variator end ,wich brings on spring fatigue ,premature belt wear. watching these moto video's posted its waaaay different the tracks are huge wide open and the quads are wide open almost the whole time. so what im tuning is much different and from some of the other post's here you maybe one of the lucky ones!!!:)

I see now xc is much different but our stock 50 we used to run
never had any issues even riding in the woods at home. Good luck
