I just got a ktm 450 and am going to do a lot of xc riding, what is the best skid plate to use?

I was told that KTM makes a skid plate? Is this true and if so are they just as good as the aftermarket companies PRM, Pro Armor, ETc.??

I ran GT Thunder sprocket guards and a JB rotor guard. Worked really good.

Do not buy da KTM skid unless u wanna completely remove it everytime u change da oil. Dat's what I did at 1st & it sucked. I got da Pro-Armor now & am very happy wit it.

I got 2 ktm belly skids and welded them together i can run over anything now but you do have to take the skid off to change the oil it is a pain. PRM makes a good skid from what ive been told id go with them or pro armor.
