I just put a new EBC clutch, MSR clutch perch, and clutch cable on my 400. How should I adjust these so it grabs properly and is working to it's full potential?

Half the fun of getting new parts is figuring out how to put them on. Lol
Just play with it, you’ll figure it out.

There's not really a correct way to adjust it. You just gotta adjust it to where it feels good to you. I just put a new cable and the MSR AOF clutch and perch on mine today. Feels and looks ten times better than the stock crap.

i'm talking more about the cable adjustment on the side of the case, how do you know when the arm the cable pulls is goig far enough forward or too far?

When there is slack in the cable you can move the arm back and forth and feel when it makes contact. The way I do it is adjust it until I just barely have to move the arm to make contact so that way when I pull the clutch I don't have a bunch of slack in the line.
