FMF header

what will a fmf header do to my 03 400ex. will it make it faster or louder.

I had the fmf powerbomb header with powercore 4 pipe on my raptor. Didn't make it faster but it really woke the bottom end up on it. Lots more low end power. And yes it was louder.
