broken E-Series

ive got a White-Brother's E Series silencer. i have the quad half apart and im cleaning it good, and i noticed that where the silencer attaches to the pipe, it has seperated and there is some carbon around the seperation ive heard of this happening on the earlier e-series. how should i fix it? just weld it back together?

Contact White Bros. and see if they will fix it for you. If not just weld it.

Tell them (WB) you had it for less than a year or they won't cover it, I learned this for myself, I had to just have mine welded. You can put reinforcement tabs on (stainless steel). Good luck.
