so this topic has me really confused.. is stock on an ltr a 4:1.5? If so this would mean they have 5.5 inch front rims which i have never heard of before.. if im trying to make my ltr more friendly for the trails would you go with a 4:1? and how much more narrower would that make it? any help would be appriciated, thanks

unless u need new rims it is prob. a waste of time and money .i have 2 ltrs ,1 with 4.1 and stock and dont notice the diff. mabe in mx u might . also the artical posted is not exactly true, wider offset rims do not increase bumpsteer.but do give the wheels a mechanical advantage over the rider.

theoretically if you widen the front without widening the back or vice versa, you will make it push through the corners, like your outside front tire will plow more than actually turn. i have ran into this befor with cheaper "widening kits" if you want it narrower you need a g force and the offsets or your handling will be off some.

They measure rims the first number is the IN number, second number is the OUT. 4 in, 1 out.
