What big bore kits are you guys running and which one seems to be the most reliable?
I already have Pro Circuit full exhaust, jet kit, alba racing intake with k&n filter, k&n power lid, and pro com rev box.
you have a lot of option as far as a bbk..you can resleeve your own cylinder or have it bored..or you can go with a cylinder works or athena kit with larger water passages..or a tudors or ice cube kit....your budgets the limit...if you want low cost the cylinder works is a good buy

the problem with BBK (IMO) is unless ya do all the tricks ,pipe , porting, carb, intake ,cams ect. ect. your better off just doing all the tricks to the stock bore unit ,39-40 hp is possible.
if you really want to turn some heads put in a +4 crank ,cams, pipe , a carb , clean up the ports
how much money do you want to spend?

holy pricetag on that kit.
you could just buy a nice used 450 for about 500 bucks more than that price tag.

the yoshimura kit hands down is the best kit for the z400 yokely even ran it for a while they spend so much time on suzukis motors they know then in and out. If you have the money that is the one or the athena kit is next in line. You send you motor to any reputable builder and it will cost you 2500 most of the time it costs 1500 in parts by the time you buy the stroker crank, have the head ported, cams, carb bored, etc.
