Building new style of scoops...

Thinking about building a new style of scoops for the 400EX models...

Not sure on the 99-04 yet (but different)

Then some 450R-like for the 05-up...

Not sure on the latest jet fighter looking one.



These would be in colors...

What do you guys think?

what are these jet fighter looking ones you mention?
I haven't seen these.
Can you post a pic of them ???

As far as building some new styles, it's all going to come down to how they look on the bike, how well they fit, and if they will clear things like shocks with rezzies, steering stabilizers, etc.
Some guys will like colors, some guys will like brushed or polished aluminum, some guys will like Stainless Steel.

I say go for it, and give it a shot.

I think you are looking for a hood instead of scoops. If you are going to incorporate anything from a drag car, get some 4 to 5 lug adapters, cragar 15x10s and a set of 325/50/15 drag radials. A hood scoop with the intake under your *** would probably get some :rolleyes: from the racers.
