Mower Racing on Discovery

Theres an hour long program called turf rockets on discovery channel tonight about the lawn mower racing guys. Its so stupid that its cool. It come on at 7pm here, I think thats central time.
After that theres a cool show about pumpkin chunking on. Thats where the make giant air cannons and shoot pumkins for distance. Reminds me of my tater gun, I miss that thing :(

They had the mower racing finals at the county fairgrounds in august, If i didnt have to work i would have checked them out.

i remember a banshee mower on ebay about a year ago, i think it went for like 1300 bucks and they said about 65 mph

I think they should customly put on some suspension and add some jumps onto the tracks. Also maybe a wheelie contest.:devious:

If im going 85mph i sure as hel! want some kind of suspension on it.Looked like it was beating them to death.That one that sat real low and wide was pretty cool.Looked like he could do donuts with no problem too.

The punkin chunkin is held right here in Delaware....I have never been, but my buddy Sharpshooter went to that one that was on Discovery last night. Looks pretty cool though

i loved the pumpin chunkin too!!! that centrifugal machine that spun very fast and released the pumpkin was sweet,,,
