I was wondering what the difference would be between a $120 RAD Bearing Carrier and a $210 RPM Millennium Bearing Carrier?

How long should a good Carrier last?

Also i have an RPM axle.

The RPM Millennium uses roller bearings.
If the axle nut isn't over tightened, and the roller bearings are cleaned/repacked periodically this type of carrier should last several times longer then the standard twin row ball bearing carrier.
Roller bearings are much better at handling the side loading that the carrier bearings receive.

I've had good luck with the standard RPM (ball bearing) carrier.
They seem to use higher quality bearings then the other companies I've tried and failed with. Once the axle is installed, it actually spun smooth and free. I've had some brand new carriers that were very stiff once installed until ridden on a few times.
And the overall fit is better then average; The center support tube in the carrier actually fits snug between the inner bearing races. Which gives proper support to the bearings against side loading and the pressure of the axle lock nut.
