A few nights ago I went and picked this thing up in trade for a dirtbike I had. 74k original miles, 22rte (factory Turbo, about 1000 made in 1987) its lifted 6 inches (4 susp. 2 body, the body lift is coming off) Its got a CT-26 turbo off a early supra on it with aftermarket manifold, up-pipe, and downpipe with an HKS SSQV bov. and the best part...300 miles on a freshly rebuilt motor and forged rotating assembly.

The truck runs at around 15psi right now and its pretty damn quick, im going to bring it down to about 9psi for safe daily driving.

btw the bed is off a mighty max haha.

Bed just dont fit right, gotta find a toy bed for it.

Also I HIGHLY recommend you look up total chaos manufacturing and buy yourself a idler arm kit from them as your gonna blow it sooner or later due to the lift kit.

They can answer you anything you need pretty much. Congrats on such a clean truck.

ya im not a fan of the bed. Ordering an all-pro tube bed this week for it, i put one of those on my 86' and I loved it.

Im a fan of IH8MUD.com personally.

Why are you gunna put the boost down? It should be fine at 15psi even for daily driving.. might kill mileage a bit :p

Ih8mud is a nice place but I always found it was geared more towards LC than anything else.

So long as you dont bother with yotatech your ok (we wont go into why).

Personally I would leave the bodylift as long as the body mounts are ok, you know they tend to rust off :(

Stock ECU cant accurately monitor or fuel anything past 10 psi although the truck does have big injectors. Take a look at my other vehicle, im not in it for speed with the yota.

Truck came from california two years ago...No rust anywhere at all! and I will 100% agree with you on yotatech, i also like pirate4x4.com, and i have owned 7 Fj40's in the last 5 years, IH8MUD fits me well lol.

lol oh yes it does my friend, boost is all about precision.

And the tires pictured are 31's, it needs 35's. But no M/T's i didnt buy this to mud it, she's too nice for that.

you wouldnt have to mud it to put some nicer aggresive a/t tires on it. I think it would look killer with some 35s on it. lol. I am a sucker for a nice looking truck though with a nice proportioned tire lift combo. steve
