I have a 90cc xtreme and put a 114cc big bore kit on it and I broke the crank in half next to the clutch. The part that slides into the cluth housing that has 8 fingers on it were all broke off as well. Bought a new crank and put about 20 laps on it and the same thing happened again. Anyone have any suggestions as for a stronger crank or a heavier duty clutch. I did up grade to a 4 speed heavy duty manual clutch before this happened. Thanks Jeff

You're gonna have to ditch the stock typhoon motor. It's too much weight on the crank and after time it snaps. Has happened to 90% of the guys here. Only a matter of time before it happens to the rest :( . Would probably be a good idea now to upgrade to one of the quality 125cc engines. You should be able to to get one in the $300 range. Make sure you get one of the good quality motors and not one of the cheap brands. If you need help let me know.
