Mini $ VS Full Size $ ????

I was just looking through the wanted/for sale section and have a question....

Why are mini's going for more than the full size quads?

Is it just me but half the size race quad should be half the price.

Some guys put a TON of money into them for their kids but yes I agree a lot of the prices are just ridiculous for these bikes.

I guess some guys think its worth the money though.

All of the parts are just as expensive as full size quads. IE shocks.

i used to think the same thing about the cost... but,just as any serious racer will tell you..the parents with children racing those things take the sport just as serious as the big guys do.so they have the best of everything on them..and to another parent wanting to buy their child a race ready mini quad,it's worth the money..those machines cost way more to build than what they usually ask for them, just the same as any full blown race quad that someone is trying to sell...

don't question what you don't have any clue about, i've seen the receipts and my uncle sunk just over 15k into my cousins last race mini and that was with custom making some of the parts him self he could have spent 20k easily.

wileymods are insane bikes along with the price tags. the motors alone range from 50cc-90cc+ and go for 1500-4000 thats just a motor

Pretty simple economics fellas.

There's how many race ready full size quads out there? 50,000? 100,000? 250,000?

And i'm talking just race ready, not necessarily like a national front runner.

Now how many race ready minis? 5,000? 10,000?

So you have two options, build one for $12,000-$20,000

or buy one for $8,000 ish.

if anybody is actually looking for one i can set you up with somebody selling a full on built to the hilt race mini legal for 90 auto classes (trx90 with the 125 kit) had 15k in before complete rebuild from ground up after only 12 races and motor was freshened up mid season. bike is like brand new and can be had for 3500. if interested please email me pqc711@msn.com or leave your email here and i can send pics
