Anyone else around the Mid Ohio Valley want to show some 4pokes how the 2trokes ride? The local series that i race is holding a 100 mile Blackwater race tribute at Starvation Point in Elizabeth WV. It's where the Blackwater race was moved after it got shut down in Davis. I've been working on my quad the last couple of weeks making sure everything is going to be 100% for this race. I'm running C class and I'm going to give everything i have to win this race.

from what i hear its going to be around 15 miles of track. the race will keep going until the first person dose 100 miles then the checkered flag will drop.

I heard they where dragging semi-trailer in and poeple where going to drive threw one way and over another. Also Rick (owner of series) was going to try and make it as hard as the real blackwater. Theres a few new sections that have never been ridden on before too.

Really hoping to see some more R's out there. There is only me and one other guy who races most of the events.

sooo... didnt work out like i was hopping. 10 seconds after the start in a straightaway I passed a guy on the outside and about the time i was running 5th gear out he clipped my back tire and I went flying.

I ended up getting a broken collar bone, fractured ribs, broke a tab off my spine, and a partially deflated lung. Spent a week in the hospital.

I still haven't got to look at the bike but my friends told me that after it was done flying 15 feet in the air the handle bars where bent all the way down, the rear bracket was ripped off the seat, and the subframe was twisted about 45 degrees.

Told myself to go easy but I didn't listen and ruined my race year because of it. I guess only around 15 poeple finished on quads taking them about 6 hours to finish.

Guess ill have more time and money to finish my laeger build for next year.

BTW I did win 3rd place at the bike show. Although i don't think ill be winning now.
