ok well today i got a new big gun rev box for my 300ex. when i plugged it in my quad ran super lean cuase the box advances the timing a little bit so we went four down notches on the needle clip to richen it and upgraded the main jet to a 185 from a 180.
the plug is burning quite weird. i have a BRAND new spark plug in it. my question is, if the threads on the plug are a dark brown/blackish and the electrode piece is white what shoudl i do to changed the jetting? it sputters about quarter to half throttle but its not the much and it still has good power through the sputtering just making the sound of. what shoudl i do to my jetting?
Some info about my quad for 2000 honda 300ex has fully built mmotor, port polish, cam, hd spring/rockers 14:1 piston and an RMZ fcr 37mm carb, sparks pipe uni filter.
