swapable steering stems?????

from the eyeballing that i have done I would have to say yes they look almost exactly the same.

anyone else?im goin to a +2 higher +1 forward stem, And my lonestar stem will be sitting around doing nothing, so I figured I sell it to myfriend with a 400ex

Nope, a 250R steering stem will not work on a 400EX. Tried it, but the steering linkage attachment and stop is reversed. If you find a simple way to do it, let me know, I haven't found one yet, though. I had them both out and stared at them real hard to see if they'd change, but they wouldn't. I guess my telekinetic powers aren't up to snuff.:D
