ds 450 fule pump will not come one

I went to start my ds 450 it would not fire up. I could not hear
the fule pump come on when i turned the key on. I found
the fule pump relay was bad. I call the can am shop they
told me they would have to order it. The cost for the relay was
15.00 + shipping and I had to wait 7 to 10 days. I went to
the auto parts house found the same one for 7.00 is stock.
now it starts up a ok.

Kwik....no **** eh? That is some great information. One of my friends just had that happen at a race and he was dead in the water. Any part numbers???

Where is the relay located? What causes the relay to go bad? I have had mine for almost a year and havent ridden much; just a faulty relay or what? Where did you get a new relay at and yes a part number would be great.

again no part number needed, just go to the close autopart,(aytozone,pepboys...) and they have those relays, they are located on the front of your quad a hole in the top of the nose, they come grey from the factory

Is it located by the base of the handlebars? Sorry for so many questions, I am not big into electrical things.
