So after 10hours or so here's what i came up with....

I machined 1/2" rod stock down to some bullet shaped posts. I then pressed them through my Fullbore mounts with alot of heat and a big hammer.
The pin supports are 1 3/4" washers with a 3/4" center hole that i drilled 4 holes in for mounting. I then polished them and made them look not so "washer" like. I then added a 3/4"O.D. rubber gromet with a 1/2 center hole.

Im not sold on the cable placement yet and will most likely change the cable to some red rubber coated and use some heat shrink plastic over the ferrels.

Now its pull 2 pins, the tank strap and they are off.
Super thanx to my good buddy Ian (Leatherface) for his vision.

Awesome idea and way to make it look super professional. Nice touch, I'm going to have to try something like that, i HATE taking off the front plastic. I bet with the pins and the clips on them you wouldn't even need the cables if you didn't want them. Awesome touch. :D

ahh someone actually came up with them, I have pondered this for years and never fabricated anything. It's not really often but every time I remove the plastic I would ask myself why don't I make these. The duz was a thought too- how did you mount those- my roadrace bike is a snap to remove the bodywork and I always thought that it should be the same for the quad- like the seat latch- if anything it will promote an easy to clean bike!!!! I like it. do you think it will work on oem full fenders as well- create all quick release pins or 1/4 turns.

man you guys are spoiled... I would love it if any of my other quads only required removing 2 bolts and a strap to get the front plastics off :)

that does look cool though and great idea!
