I had to replace my water pump hose neck that recently broke and i decided since i was already in the pump and had to drain the coolant that i would replace my outer seal.

For some reason Ive been having to refill my coolant tank every or every other race. some people say i should never have to add coolant to it so is there a chance that theres a slow leak in the outer seal? my head gaskets are fine i just done a rebuild and replaced them. also someone said maybe my radiator cap but what would cause the cap to be bad??

Sometimes caps go bad just from normal wear and tear. your coolant system gets pressurized when it heats up and if the seal on your cap is worn, it'll leak. Its not leaking into your oil is it?

ya you drained the coolant out of the system. whats its doing is taking the coolant in and blowing the air bubbles from being in the system back out, dont worry it should stop soon. its all gotta go somewhere!
