So is anyone running alky on their 450? I'm really looking for people that aren't just drag guys. I'm considering running it through my play bike. I have been around alcohol for years now as my dad and sister race dirt track cars on alky.
I hate the price of race gas, and alky is only about 2 bucks a gallon and race gas here is 6-8 per gallon and just as easy to come by. My engine is an 05 and has a JE 13.8-1 piston and a sparks mx cam. I have a stock FCR carb, and see that ESR sells a specific jet kit for alky. I do know about the corosive properties of alky, and would probably run a little upper cylinder lube with it, and fog down the carb good when it is going to sit for a while. Just looking for any input from anyone else running alcohol on their quad.
