Looking into buying one from a dealer. They want 5999 otd for it brand new. Any issues with them. Was looking at getting the yfz450r, but they didn't have any left, and they wanted 7400 otd for it. I heard slit of people like the regular one compared to the r. Any opinions, this will be my first time owning a 450.

if i was you ,i would just save the extra money and buy an r/x. i just bought my new x yesterday though, so im alittle bias

I just bought a 09 450R for 6300 otd 3 weeks ago. The deals are out there.

BUY IT! But i wouldnt pay 6. I paid 7 for mine last February. Standard's are WAY better then R/X

i ended up getting the 2009 yfz450r. i paid $900 more for it. i'm happy with it, it was the right color and the last one left. can't wait to ride it.

X2 Disagree!!!! Get an R. It's a more ridable bike and the aftermarket for it is starting to really flurish on it. The motor builders are finally seeing how to pull the HP out of the motor. Garret @ FCI is working on a intake as we speak. His Duner project pulled 60 HP and 38 lbs of torque. Very impressive and will hanger with any other race bike out there.

i got the new x bill balance specail edition for 6500 tax and everything 7100
idk i kinda wish i went with the r but the x its just as bad *** i got the gytr s/o
power commander 5 and the mod quad high flow intake eats the trx450 with the same mods while mine was stock so yea its worth it
