08-09 Differences

Local shop has an 08 for $6,999. First off, is that a good deal? Secondly, what should I be looking for as far as updates go? And finally, are there any differences between this and an 09??

On the XC, the throttle is different and I believe the shocks are slightly different.
I don't know if the SX had the same differences or not. 6999 isn't a bad price at all, especially if it's a 525

Thanks... I actually found another place that has one for $5,999 for 450XC

Thumb throttle turned forward 10º, redesigned seat cover and the shocks received 13 updates (12mm more travel, .5 inch lower ride height, more comfort...).

$5999? what are you waiting for?? buy it, slip a 540 kit inside, factory cams, exhaust and you'll have a missile for less than 8K! :D

54warrior, what shop has ones for 5999. Ive been looking for one in MD and Pa and the cheapest '09 I can find is 6600.
