View Full Version : tips on removing needle bearings

ok so what do you guys do to remove your needle bearings and stuff? i just put new bearings in it but i must of F'd something up cause its loose? its a 88 89 rear end, unless it could just be from the end caps( not the dust seals, but the next caps in)

the center collar and bronze end caps are just as important as the bearings. Replace it all when you do it.

well i got just the needles and replaced them once and that didnt do the trick. mabie i for got that steel shaft that runs through it...

get a pivot works kit, everything will be new. Worn bearings make slop that cause the center tube to move around and oval/wear the brass/bronze end caps.

rocky mountain atv, last time I ordered, they had free 3 day shipping. If you need them quickly, the dealer can have it in 2 days, but you will pay more than a discount house.
