replaced water pump shaft and seals still overheating

2007 yfz 450, machine started blowing water out the water pump weep hole, replaced pump shaft and seals, after it runs for 3 or 4 minutes it starts to leak out the weep hole again. we just noticed that the fan is not running, but does the fan provide that much air flow? we are only running the engine for 3 or 4 minutes when it starts weeping. any other problem areas with these machines I should be checking?? any help or suggestion. thanks Bill

alot of ppl put the seal in backwards. might want to check that

I put them in with the closed sides facing out. is that correct?? thanks Bill

closed sides face in towards each other.

The spring side is suppose to be in the liquid. I did the same thing... learn from experience I guess.

yup that was the problem, put them in correctly end of leak. thanks Bill
