i was thinking about getting an ltr450 next year to race GNCC and a local xc series. i know the ltr is probabl narrow enough for the GNCC but local tracks tend to be narrower. are you still able to go fast and not worry about hitting a tree with the stock width or do i need to buy shorter a-arms?

4+1's in the front and either Z 400 hubs in rear or a adjustible axle and youll be fine

some quads, (400ex) you have to move a few things around to make sure you have enough clearance for the gt thunder links because your swing arm can hit things. is there any mods or issues with redone shocks or swing arm links?

If 4+1 wheels were done and not narrower A-Arms. What would the end width be as opposed to narrow aftermarket A-Arms?

i have had a 400ex that sat about 50 inches wide and my ltr basicly stock is about 48 inches my rims may make things dif idk for sure. i have never come to a spot in 15 years of riding were 50 inches is too wide to make it happen, if two trees are too close, go around one and chances are you can make it in another spot. i wouldnt worry about it, a can am outlander 800 is over 46" otherwise i would be able to put one in the box of my truck with my toolboxes. have to take one side off for my quads, and the space with toolboxes in is 46'' wide

get a 50 inch stick and put it to the front of your utility, drive though the woods. is it too wide for you or will it be ok?
