Which do you prefer, and why?
Advantages, disadvantages of each?

No link set ups save weight, thats all. Im not a suspension expert but Im pretty sure you have to run a stiffer spring and what not. Either way the linkage is better suspension wise.

No link also will not have the stuff hanging lower than the swingarm. Used to be big with the woods racers for that reason.

I really was wondering because I always see the other hybrid guys running no link setups, but never understood why.

I've had both... They actually both work very well. All dependent on shock setup. I'm not going to tell you one is better then the other. However I've built several hybrids and weather it be true or not... bottom line is its much easier to build an intake setup with a no link like a dc-4 then a link because the shocks is mounted high on top and it sets further away on the arms leaving tons more room. I really think thats why so many companies went that route. Just ease of build.
