big bore kits

Anyone know what is the most i can bore my 400ex out for a good price? $ is tight but the motor is all stock and just not puttin enough power out for me

Well its stock bore i would go 416 mayb 426 because its the first cylinder bore
Or u could buy a 440 kit
One of the Biggest u could go Without a stroker is a 465 kit from FST
Wither way i would bump up the comp ratio to 11:1 or 12:1 and mayb invest in some GTT head studs

BTW on both of those adds u have to go in and remove the < br / > for them to work right


But of you really wanted u could run a stock bore size and a high comp piston like 12:1 mayb 12.5:1 but then u sould be running higher octane fuel


Personally i would go with the 416 or 426 with either 11:1 or 12:1 comp ratio

Then ported and polished head and a stage 2 hotcam and u would have a pretty good running 400ex
