+3 key with stock motor

will this key help with a stock motor except for a stage 1 hot cam? i want a + key but dont want the heat of the sparks since i will be racing xc.

+3 would be perfect for your setup. If wheelie is out I have an extra one I bought from him I won't be using. I'm going too high comp on my next build. PM me if interested.

Logan--The key will help output on your setup and will still be pump gas friendly.

If the key is properly installed it won't shear.

I have several ready to ship.

Really with your setup a +6 key won't run hot. I just installed a +6 key with the mods I have in my sig and didn't notice mine running any hotter than it did before. I also have the temperature dip stick in my oil tank and the oil temps are right on par with what they were before the Sparks +6 key.

I did notice a little bit of difference with the +6 key, it feels like it pulls a little harder.
