I've been having so much trouble with my line twisting on my pole. I tried all types of line and right now I'm settling on the Shakespear firewire. It seems to hold up the best. I use a swivel with jointed lures and poppers. Any tips? Its a spinning reel.

its hard to say, without seeing it. its probably either the way youre putting it on the reel, or it may just be memory in the line and needs to be stretched out.

Having the swivel helps . Another thing you can do , while out in the boat , let out all your line and reel it back in . Do this every few times out . It'll help to take out the twists.

I've done the boat trick a few times never had any luck. I just throw new line on it now.:p
