stage2 hotcam, 440 big bore-->jetting

[440ex. ehhh!!]

so in a few months when my Flat track season is finished, i am putting a stage 2 hotcam in my 440.
i was just wondering what kind of jetting i would need. i ride in different elevations also, race at 200-300 meters ASL and other then racing i am at about 100 meters ASL
ps. 39.375 inches per meter. :p

it has exhaust but i don't know what type of exhaust :confused:
can anyone tell me what this exhaust might be???

also, what brand should i buy for the top end gasket? i can get a Namura top end gasket kit for $40 on ebay. good??? or can i find a better deal somewhere else?

I stay away from all Namura products. Go with a Cometic gasket kit. You should be able to get one from C&D Racing (the site's sponsor) for a decent price. Just shoot Colby an email here (http://www.exriders.com/vbb/member.php?s=&action=mailform&userid=1507).

X2 on the namura stuff, im not a big fan of it but if u were running a 2 stroke and rebuilt it every couple months or every year they prob wouldn't b bad, im sure they would hold up for a year until the nxt rebuild

aha It's all good. I read it as cosmetic the first time I saw it, too.

cosmetic is good up to 11.1 comp. after that i would use wiseco there better. this is just what i have found from working on my 440.

okay thanks, i think thats what I'll end up using because the 440 kit is wiseco anyway and their Gasket in it now i have had no problems with.
