Fat man shocks

Hello I'm looking for some aftermarket shocks that are for around 260 to 280 weight class or do they even make them for that weight???........ I have a 2007 yfz 450 se with +2 aarms and gforce ajustable +2 axle......... I need some suggestions on what brands to get and I would like to buy a set of used ones and have them serviced and set for my weight tell me what you got??

i bought some shocks off ebay and guy told me they were for 180lbs and when i got them i called elka and they told me the specs on them which were 290lb rider setup for blah blah and all that crap. im by no means a small guy and my elkas are stiff as crap and will not bottom out and i race MX A class

I had some AXIS shocks before that were setup for 180-190lbs rider and im not 180 or 190lbs and i liked them actually better than the elkas i have now. i had my rear shock revalved and setup for 220lbs rider and its a lil soft but very freakin plush and feels great. the rear is softer than the fronts by a long shot.

Get you some elkas and send them to GTT for a revalve.

get them revalved and repsrung by someone who knows what they are doing with shocks. a lot cheaper and will work just as good.
