well i was at englishtown this weekend and was watching the race when i saw mike polettie racing the local d6 a class, to my suprise he was being beaten by randy lear and tony lucarelli after the first moto he packed up and left. is this strange or what??
also i noticed he ziptied his front shocks down before the start like to get a better holeshot. never saw that before.

he had problems with his hydrolic clutch and had to pack it up. No doubt randy and tony are extremely fast but so is mike. He wouldn't leave because of that. But its hard to beat lehr. randy was hauling

yea mike ended up getting air in his clutch system during the 1st A moto, no one had the fluid to bleed it out and he was just using this race to help get his wrist in shape.

ok thats what i heard but wasnt 100% sure. so i guess we will find out at hurricane cuz randy has the 10 commandments down pretty good lol

that idea of the zip ties is a really good one. I forget which company actually had a locking system that would let you lock em down for the holeshot. I feel like they stopped making them because they werent working properly.

The zip ties on the other hand are a great idea. THey would break as soon as you touch the front brakes.

how would you zip tie the front shocks down? im confused on this but i do know about the hole shot device you guys are talking about

idol speed is still making the holeshot devices, what he was doing was taking zip-ties from the lower a-arm to the coil on the shock

he raced neatv with his arm in a cast... and cleared every jump on the track at 207....hes a freak

yea and i dont think that one arm touched the bars at all. he did that one handed. that was crazy to watch thats for sure
